The online platform COURSERA is offering a 6 week free online course about Social Innovation.
The MOOC Becoming a changemaker: Introduction to Social Innovation aims to debunk common assumptions around what resources are needed to begin acting as a social innovator and presents multiple examples of social innovation around the world.
The main objective of the course is to allow the participants to form their own approach to social innovation, and to develop the concepts, mindset, skills, and relationships that will enable them to start and evolve as a “changemaker”.
The course was created by the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship and RLabs, a social movement from Bridgetown (Cape Town, South Africa).
